The story

In Belgrade after the Milošević years, a former state security operative walks into the office of a onetime dissident with boxes of surveillance files and a story that neither man can leave buried. As they sift through years of wiretaps, reports, and small humiliations, the visit turns into an accounting of how the regime watched, pressured, and shaped private lives. What begins as an awkward meeting becomes a bitter, darkly funny confrontation between the man who resisted and the man who helped keep him under control. Written and directed by Dušan Kovačević, the film keeps tightening the link between personal history and the machinery of the state.
