Black Gruya and the Stone of Wisdom

The story

In a broad Serbian historical farce, Black Gruya stumbles into a chase for the Stone of Wisdom, an object important enough to attract schemers, fools, and anyone hoping power might come with it. What starts as a quest quickly turns into a string of blunders, reversals, and opportunistic alliances as political ambition collides with superstition and greed. Gruya keeps trying to stay ahead of rivals and authority figures, but every move only pulls him deeper into a mess of mistaken motives and comic chaos. The story uses the hunt for the stone to mock power, posturing, and national myth, letting slapstick mishaps drive the action while the satire sharpens around them.
