When a desperate call from a kidnapped stranger reaches his cell phone, Ryan is pulled into a crisis he can barely verify. Chris Evans is Ryan, the young man on the receiving end of Jessica Martin’s plea; Kim Basinger’s Jessica says a home invasion has turned into an abduction, and that her husband and son are next. With only scraps of information to work from, Ryan races across Los Angeles trying to find her before the line goes dead, while William H. Macy’s police sergeant starts to suspect the call points to something larger.
