Tao Tsuchiya is Shizuku Mizutani, a cold, studious high schooler whose focus is grades, not friendships. Then she finds herself sitting beside Haru Yoshida, a problem student who has no one else to turn to. Masaki Suda’s Haru quickly fixes on Shizuku, and their unlikely connection begins to pull both of them out of isolation. As they spend more time together, Haru’s feelings become impossible to hide, leaving Shizuku to sort through emotions she’s never made much room for. The film centers on their awkward, offbeat romance, balancing school-life comedy with two teenagers learning how to get close to someone.
