Good looks don’t help much when every conversation turns into a fiasco. Kentarô Itô is an endearingly inept young man whose face gets noticed long before his confidence does, and his complete lack of experience with women becomes a problem when he falls for a beauty who keeps him guessing. Opposite him, Erika Karata is the hard-to-reach crush at the center of his fumbling pursuit, while director Noboru Iguchi leans into the mismatch between a heartthrob exterior and a painfully awkward love life. The comedy comes from that gap: a guy who looks effortlessly cool and has no idea what to do next.
