During the 1913 Mexican Revolution, outlaw Juan Miranda is hunting one big score when he crosses paths with John H. Mallory (James Coburn), an Irish explosives expert on the run in Mexico. Rod Steiger’s Juan wants the stranger’s dynamite for a bank robbery, but the job pulls both men into a wider uprising after the blast frees a group of political prisoners. Directed by Sergio Leone, the film follows their uneasy partnership across ambushes, shifting loyalties, and the collision between personal greed and revolutionary myth.
