Two bounty hunters are after the same man: El Indio (Gian Maria Volonté), a brutal outlaw with a large reward on his head. Clint Eastwood is the drifter known as the Man With No Name, while Lee Van Cleef's Colonel Mortimer brings a colder, more methodical style to the chase. What begins as a rivalry turns into a wary partnership as they close in on El Indio and his gang. Directed by Sergio Leone, the film builds its pursuit through drawn-out standoffs, dust-caked towns, and the tense, watchful dynamic between two professionals who can barely trust each other.
