Appointment with Danger
CrimeDramaThriller90 min
A U.S. postal inspector is drawn into a murder case after a mailman is killed and a nun becomes the only witness who can identify the men behind it. As he tries to keep her alive and move her across dangerous ground, the case opens onto an organized gang that will kill again to protect its operation. The inspector has to track leads, test loyalties, and stay ahead of criminals who know exactly how to use fear and confusion to their advantage. Alan Ladd plays the investigator at the center of the chase, with Phyllis Calvert as the nun whose testimony turns a routine inquiry into a deadly pursuit.
