No Way to Treat a Lady

ComedyCrimeDramaMysteryThriller108 min

In New York City, a strangler uses wigs, accents, and borrowed personas to charm women before killing them, then starts calling the detective assigned to catch him. George Segal is Moe Brummel, a harried NYPD cop trying to work the case while fielding pressure at home from his mother. Rod Steiger's Christopher Gill treats murder like performance, slipping through one disguise after another as the hunt narrows. Lee Remick threads into the case as tour guide Kate Palmer, who sees the killer leaving her neighbor's apartment and takes an interest in Moe.
