Department Q: The Keeper of Lost Causes

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller100 min

After a disastrous assignment leaves him sidelined, detective Carl Mørck is reassigned to Department Q, a two-man unit tasked with clearing cold cases. Nikolaj Lie Kaas is Carl, paired with Fares Fares's Hafez el-Assad to reopen the five-year disappearance of politician Merete Lynggaard (Sonja Richter), who vanished during a ferry trip with her brother. Their search moves through old reports, dead ends and overlooked details as an apparently closed case begins to look unfinished, and the partnership at the center of it has to work through Carl's abrasive instincts as much as the mystery itself.
