When his 16-year-old daughter vanishes, David Kim turns to the place the police haven’t fully searched: her laptop, where messages, photos, and social accounts may hold the only trail left. John Cho is David, a father piecing together passwords, video chats, and browser history as the hours pass, while detective Rosemary Vick (Debra Messing) leads the official investigation. Told almost entirely through computer and phone screens, the film unfolds through FaceTime calls, news clips, search bars, and social media posts, turning ordinary digital habits into the framework of a missing-person case.
