Downsizing
ComedyDramaFantasySci-Fi140 min
In a near-future attempt to solve overpopulation, people can shrink themselves to a few inches tall and trade cramped finances for luxury in planned miniature communities. Matt Damon's Paul Safranek, a gentle occupational therapist, volunteers for the procedure expecting a fresh start with his wife, only to enter that new world on his own. In Leisureland, Paul’s carefully managed second life opens onto a different side of the experiment when he meets Ngoc Lan Tran (Hong Chau), an activist living far from the polished promise that sold him on going small.
