Fresh out of prison, Marie crosses paths in Paris with Baptiste, a young woman who pulls her into a chase after a mysterious briefcase tied to Marie’s former lover. Bulle Ogier is the claustrophobic ex-con at the center, while Pascale Ogier’s Baptiste moves through the city with a knife, a taste for karate, and a conspiratorial view of the streets around them. As maps, clippings, and chance encounters pile up, Paris starts to look less like a city than a giant board game, with hidden routes, traps, and clues that may point to a plot, a fantasy, or something harder to pin down.
