After months of captivity in Syria, 30-year-old French war reporter Gabriel heads to India instead of settling back into life at home. Roman Kolinka is Gabriel, carrying the strain and distance of that ordeal into a landscape far from the front. The film follows him through France and India as daily life resumes unevenly and new encounters accumulate. Aarshi Banerjee and Alex Descas are among the people around him in a story shaped by aftermath, dislocation, and the uncertainty of what comes next.
