Nobody Knows

Drama141 min

In a small Tokyo apartment, 12-year-old Akira is left to care for his younger siblings when their mother (You) disappears and shows no sign of returning. Yûya Yagira is Akira, the eldest child trying to hold the household together while the children remain cut off from the adult world around them. With Ayu Kitaura and Hiei Kimura among the siblings, the film stays close to the cramped routines of the apartment and the fragile order Akira tries to maintain as the children are forced to rely on one another.
