ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThriller116 min

Zatoichi, a blind traveler who works as a masseur and likes to gamble at dice, arrives in a village controlled by rival gangs and decides to defend the people caught between them. Takeshi Kitano is the wandering swordsman, quiet and unassuming until his blade comes out, with Tadanobu Asano among the dangerous men circling the town. Geisha, gamblers, and revenge-seekers move through the same streets as Zatoichi cuts a path toward the men profiting from the violence.
