That Uncertain Feeling
ComedyRomance84 min
Jill Baker is restless in her comfortable marriage to an insurance salesman, Larry, and a chance meeting with an eccentric pianist gives that dissatisfaction a direction. What begins as boredom turns into a serious push for divorce, throwing the Bakers into a tangle of wounded pride, mixed signals, and sudden romantic competition. As Jill tries to imagine a different life, Larry is forced to decide whether he is ready to let his wife go or fight for the marriage he has taken for granted. Merle Oberon and Melvyn Douglas lead a comedy built on marital stalemate, impulsive decisions, and the social chaos that follows when a private unhappiness becomes public.
