The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
ActionAdventureComedyDramaRomance119 min
After a rare jaguar shark kills a member of his crew, renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou heads back to sea determined to track it down. Bill Murray is Zissou, leading Team Zissou on an expedition that keeps getting sidetracked by pirates, rivalries, and people from his past. On board are Ned (Owen Wilson), a young airline copilot who thinks Zissou may be his father, and Jane, a pregnant journalist brought in by Cate Blanchett to cover the voyage. Anjelica Huston’s Eleanor, Zissou’s estranged wife, and Jeff Goldblum’s polished rival pull the mission into the same dry, symmetrical, eccentric world Wes Anderson builds around him.
