Madam Secretary
Drama45 min per episode
After the suspicious death of the Secretary of State, former CIA analyst and political science professor Elizabeth McCord is pulled back into government to take the job. In Washington, she faces international crises, tense negotiations, and a White House that does not always tell her everything. Each decision puts her between diplomacy and political pressure as she works to prevent conflicts abroad while navigating rival agendas at home. Téa Leoni anchors Elizabeth as a secretary of state who relies on instinct, intelligence, and a willingness to challenge her own administration. Outside the office, the demands of the job spill into her marriage and family life, turning public decisions into private strain.
