CIA officer Carrie Mathison is one of the agency’s sharpest operatives, but her bipolar disorder leaves her volatile, secretive, and increasingly isolated. Claire Danes is Carrie, whose suspicions zero in on returned Marine Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), a decorated prisoner of war she believes may have been turned by al-Qaeda. At the CIA, Carrie’s closest ally is Mandy Patinkin’s Saul Berenson, her longtime mentor and a rare source of trust as surveillance, counterterror work, and political pressure begin to collide.
