Designated Survivor
ActionCrimeDramaMysteryThriller43 min per episode
A low-profile Cabinet secretary is kept away from the State of the Union as the government’s designated survivor, then is sworn in as president after an explosion wipes out everyone ahead of him in the line of succession. Thomas Kirkman suddenly has to run a shocked country, calm a panicked public, and prove he belongs in an office he never expected to hold. As his administration scrambles to rebuild a government from scratch, signs suggest the attack was not a single act of terror. Kiefer Sutherland leads a story split between White House crisis management and the hunt to uncover who planned the strike and what comes next.
