Ben Is Back
Drama103 min
Nineteen-year-old Ben Burns turns up at his family’s suburban home on Christmas Eve morning, fresh out of rehab and asking to stay. Lucas Hedges is Ben, whose sudden return brings relief and suspicion in equal measure; Julia Roberts’s Holly welcomes her son home but watches him with the vigilance of someone measuring every hour. As church, family plans, and old dangers press in over the course of a single day, Holly does everything she can to keep Ben close and keep the holiday from coming apart.
