Satan's Brew

ComedyDramaRomance113 min

A famous poet hasn’t written a word in two years, and when new work finally appears, it’s borrowed — unconsciously — from Stefan George. The crisis around his stalled career quickly widens into a mess of mistresses, family embarrassment, and a murder investigation. Kurt Raab leads the spiral, with Margit Carstensen and Helen Vita moving through the poet’s increasingly unstable orbit. As the plagiarism scandal deepens, vanity and borrowed genius keep colliding with a life already crowded by lovers, relatives, and police attention.
