In mid-1960s New York, wealthy debutante Edie Sedgwick is swept into Andy Warhol’s Factory and quickly becomes the face of his downtown art world. Sienna Miller is Edie, drawn to the attention and freedom of Warhol’s circle, while Guy Pearce’s Andy presides over a scene built on films, fame, and carefully managed intimacy. As Edie’s attachment to Warhol grows more complicated, she begins an affair with a charismatic musician, played by Hayden Christensen, and starts pressing for a life outside the orbit that made her a muse.
