Private Benjamin
ComedyWar110 min
When a sheltered high-society woman impulsively enlists in the U.S. Army, military life turns out to be nothing like the cushioned arrangement she imagined. Goldie Hawn is the pampered recruit dropped into boot-camp routines, rigid rules, and endless training exercises, while Eileen Brennan’s drill instructor has little patience for complaints or special treatment. The comedy leans into the clash between privilege and military order as Benjamin stumbles through barracks life, authority figures, and a system that expects her to toughen up fast.
