Dave
ComedyRomance110 min
Dave Kovic is a sweet-tempered temp agency owner who moonlights as a presidential impersonator, and his uncanny resemblance to the commander in chief gets him pulled into the White House as a stand-in. Kevin Kline handles the double role of Dave and the President, while Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Mitchell is the First Lady kept at a careful distance from the arrangement. As the substitution stretches on, Oval Office routine, Secret Service choreography, and Washington insiders turn an ordinary nice guy into the public face of the presidency, with Frank Langella hovering nearby as the chief of staff managing the cover-up.
