ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThriller96 min
A San Francisco cop gets just 48 hours to track down two ruthless criminals, and his best lead is a fast-talking convict he can barely control. To work the case, he pulls the prisoner out of jail and drags him through bars, back alleys, and the city’s criminal underworld, hoping the man’s connections will flush the fugitives out. Instead, every step turns into a clash of methods, tempers, and motives: one man wants justice, the other wants his freedom and a way to stay alive. Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy drive the chase as the uneasy partnership stumbles from interrogation to shootout with the clock running down.
