Beverly Hills Cop
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller105 min
After his best friend is killed, Detroit cop Axel Foley heads to Beverly Hills to investigate on his own, bringing streetwise instincts and a talent for talking his way past every rule in sight. Eddie Murphy is Axel, a fast-moving smart-mouth dropped into a world of art galleries, country clubs, and polished police procedure that wants nothing to do with him. As Foley pushes into a murder case tied to drug smuggling, he keeps colliding with local detective Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), John Ashton's by-the-book Taggart, and the Beverly Hills brass trying to keep him out of the way.
