Max Manus: Man of War
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThrillerWar118 min
After fighting in Finland’s Winter War, Aksel Hennie is Max Manus, a Norwegian veteran who comes home to a country under Nazi occupation and is pulled into the resistance. As the war spreads across Norway, Max becomes a key member of the Oslo Gang, carrying out sabotage missions, evading capture, and building a reputation for audacity. Alongside Nicolai Cleve Broch’s Gregers Gram, he moves through underground cells, prison breaks, and training in Scotland before returning to continue the fight. Drawn from Manus’s life, the film tracks one resistance fighter from the first shock of occupation toward the end of the war in 1945.
