Flame & Citron

ActionAdventureDramaRomanceThrillerWar130 min

In occupied Copenhagen in 1944, two Danish resistance gunmen carry out assassinations for the underground, only to find their orders growing harder to trust. Thure Lindhardt is Flame, a young fighter eager to turn his sights from collaborators to the Nazis, while Mads Mikkelsen’s older, steadier Citron works beside him through a maze of handlers, informants, and suspected double agents. As each killing raises new doubts about who is using whom, the film follows the pair through a wartime city where loyalty, politics, and survival rarely line up cleanly.
