An Action Hero
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller132 min
At 30 and at the height of his fame, movie star Maanav finds his screen persona colliding with his private life when a murder accusation sends him out of India and into hiding. Ayushmann Khurrana is Maanav, a superstar used to choreographed danger who suddenly has to navigate police attention, media scrutiny, and life on the run. Close behind him is Jaideep Ahlawat’s vengeful politician, who turns the chase into something personal. The film follows Maanav as celebrity image, public scandal, and survival start folding into the kind of action story he usually only performs on camera.
