In Mumbai, film critics begin turning up dead one by one, each murder timed to the release of a new movie. Sunny Deol is Arvind Mathur, the head of Crime Branch Mumbai, assigned to stop the killings before panic spreads through the city’s film world. He turns to criminal psychologist Zenobia (Shreya Dhanwanthary), whose profiling becomes central to tracking a murderer fixated on reviews, reputation and punishment. As the case unfolds, the investigation keeps circling back to the uneasy relationship between artists, critics and the public life of cinema.
