ActionAdventureComedyRomance100 min
A shy Hamburg schoolteacher buys a ring from a street vendor after she tells him it will lead him to the woman he is meant to love. When he mistakes the sign and falls for another woman headed to Istanbul, he drops everything and sets out across Europe to find her. The trip keeps going wrong and opening up at the same time: missed rides, border crossings, bad decisions, and one chance encounter after another push him farther from his orderly life. Along the way, the vendor July joins the journey, and what starts as a chase after one romance turns into something much messier, funnier, and harder to ignore.
