The Shootist

DramaRomanceWestern100 min

An aging gunfighter arrives in Carson City looking for a doctor and learns he is dying. With little time left, J.B. Books rents a room from a widowed landlady and her teenage son, trying to live quietly while word spreads that the West’s most feared shootist is in town. Old enemies, curious admirers, and men who want to make a name for themselves keep circling, turning his last days into a public test of nerve. John Wayne leads a story about a legend facing the end of both his life and his kind.
