Session 9
DramaHorrorMystery100 min
An asbestos abatement crew takes a rush job inside an abandoned mental asylum, where the scale of the building and its history begin to work on the men as the cleanup goes on. Peter Mullan and David Caruso are among the five workers moving through sealed wards and debris, already strained by the schedule and by tensions within the group. Running alongside their days in the hospital are recorded therapy sessions with a former patient, the “session 9” tapes, which add another layer of unease as accidents, arguments, and the institution’s past start to press in.
