Tai Chi Master

ActionAdventureComedyDramaThriller96 min

After a false accusation gets them expelled from the Shaolin Temple, two boyhood friends are forced into separate lives and eventually land on opposite sides of a civil war. Junbao (Jet Li) grows from a gifted student into a wandering fighter, while his former brother-in-arms is drawn toward power through the army. Michelle Yeoh enters the turmoil as an ally as the story widens from temple training and rough humor to rebellion, split loyalties, and escalating martial-arts clashes. The rivalry at its center keeps circling back to the bond the two men once shared.
