Tim Bisley and Daisy Steiner are two North London twenty-somethings who barely know each other when they pose as a couple to land the only flat they can afford. Simon Pegg is Tim, suddenly in need of a place after a breakup, while Jessica Hynes's Daisy has just given up squatting and is still trying to get her life moving. Their arrangement brings them into orbit with Marsha (Julia Deakin), the landlady, Mark Heap's eccentric downstairs lodger Brian, and Tim's best friend Mike, played by Nick Frost. Created by Pegg and Hynes and directed by Edgar Wright, the show turns flatshare hassles into surreal, pop-culture-laced comedy.
