A neglected socialite reinvents herself as the scandalous Madam Satan to lure back her unfaithful husband at a masked ball aboard a zeppelin. Kay Johnson is the society wife behind the disguise, while Reginald Denny’s wandering husband has no idea who he’s flirting with once the party begins. Directed by Cecil B. DeMille, the film starts as a marital farce and then lifts into an extravagant airborne masquerade, with musical numbers, elaborate costumes, lightning, and a looming disaster over the celebration.
