Tim Matheson is among the locals trying to understand why familiar neighbors have become erratic and dangerous, while Meg Tilly is caught inside the same spreading breakdown. As ordinary homes, streets, and routines start to feel unstable, the film follows the town’s slow unraveling from one disturbing incident to the next, with Hume Cronyn among the faces watching the community change.
