The Beast Within
FantasyHorrorSci-Fi98 min
After his 17th birthday, Michael MacCleary begins changing in ways no one in his rural Mississippi town can explain. Paul Clemens is Michael, a teenager hit by blackouts, violent urges, and a grotesque transformation that points to something inhuman just under the surface. As panic spreads, his parents — Eli (Ronny Cox) and Caroline (Bibi Besch) — are forced to revisit a buried secret surrounding Michael’s birth and the identity of his father. Swamp-horror, body mutation, and small-town dread drive the story as Michael’s search for answers turns increasingly dangerous.
