Christie Cromwell (Rachael Kelly) discovers that her stepfather is trying to kill both her and her mother, but every time she sounds the alarm, the adults around her dismiss her story. In suburban New Rochelle, what starts as a teen's growing panic turns into a fight to prove that the danger inside her home is real before it's too late. David Allen Brooks brings a polished surface to Paul Fox, the man Christie suspects, while Marie Masters is Karen, Christie's mother, pulled between her daughter's warnings and her new marriage. The film builds its threat around family distrust, sudden violence, and a house that no longer feels safe.
