Father of the Bride

ComedyFamilyRomance105 min

George Banks is a middle-class father whose world tilts when his 22-year-old daughter comes home engaged to a man from a wealthier family. Steve Martin is George, trying to be happy for Annie (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) while quietly coming apart over the guest list, the price tag, and what marriage will mean for their family. As the plans grow from a simple announcement into a full wedding at the Banks home, George finds himself pushed aside by relatives, logistics, and a wedding planner who seems to take over the whole house.
