The Wedding Singer
ComedyRomance97 min
After he’s dumped on the day of his wedding, Robbie Hart keeps showing up to other people’s receptions as a wedding singer with a broken heart. Adam Sandler is Robbie, a onetime local rock star now working the banquet-hall circuit in 1985, where he meets Julia, a waitress planning her own wedding. Drew Barrymore’s Julia asks him to help with the details, and their growing connection starts to complicate her plans with fiancé Glenn. Big hair, pop hooks, and one awkward ceremony after another keep the romance tied to the wedding-world setting.
