The Matador
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThriller97 min
Danny Wright, a traveling salesman whose life is all airports and sales calls, wanders into a Mexico City bar and meets Julian Noble, a stranger who may be a hit man. Greg Kinnear is Danny, mild and perpetually on the road; Pierce Brosnan’s Julian is rumpled and chatty, yet impossible to place. What begins as an awkward exchange over cocktails turns into a strange friendship, and Danny is pulled into a far less ordinary itinerary of erratic confessions, close calls, and increasingly dangerous detours.
