National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Comedy97 min

Clark Griswold wants a big, old-fashioned family Christmas at home, but every plan starts to unravel as relatives descend, neighbors look on, and the bonus he’s counting on from his boss still hasn’t arrived. Chevy Chase is Clark, charging ahead through one holiday disaster after another, while Beverly D’Angelo’s Ellen keeps the household from tipping completely over. Built around the Griswolds’ packed house, strained family dinners, and Clark’s fixation on getting everything just right, the movie turns suburban Christmas rituals into a chain reaction of mishaps.
