300 Miles to Heaven
Drama90 min
In 1985 Communist Poland, two teenage brothers decide they cannot endure life under the regime any longer and set out to escape to the West. Their plan is simple and brutal: hide inside a truck bound for Denmark and survive the trip without being discovered. Once they climb in, the film stays close to the physical ordeal of the journey as the boys fight cold, fear, exhaustion, and the constant risk that one mistake will send them back. Based on the true story of the Zieliński brothers, this drama follows an escape that turns into a test of nerve, trust, and endurance over hundreds of dangerous miles.
