American Graffiti

ComedyDrama112 min

In Modesto, California, in 1962, a group of teenagers spends one long summer night cruising the strip, chasing dates, dodging doubts, and trying to figure out what comes next. As the radios blast early rock and roll, the night breaks into overlapping stories: a recent graduate wavers over leaving town, another prowls for the blonde in a white T-bird he can’t forget, and a younger kid gets pulled into a world of fast cars and older girls. Richard Dreyfuss and Ron Howard are part of an ensemble moving from drive-ins to drag races, where every stop turns up another flirtation, challenge, or last-minute choice before morning.
