Dogtooth
DramaThriller98 min
In an isolated country estate, three grown children live under total control, taught by their parents to fear everything beyond the gate. Christos Stergioglou and Michele Valley are the mother and father at the center of the household, drilling the siblings with homemade tapes and a private vocabulary that assigns new meanings to ordinary words. The outside world is reduced to rumor, fantasy, and punishment, while the children’s curiosity keeps pressing against the rules built around them. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Dogtooth turns family life into a sealed system of rituals, false lessons, and creeping dread.
