Action Point
Comedy85 min
D.C. runs Action Point, a ramshackle amusement park built around dangerous homemade rides, bad ideas, and almost no concern for safety. Johnny Knoxville is the reckless owner at the center of the chaos, with Chris Pontius among the equally unqualified friends helping him keep the place going. When D.C.’s estranged teenage daughter Boogie arrives just as a polished corporate mega-park opens nearby, the mess turns personal as he tries to protect the park he loves and reconnect with his family. The comedy is built on stunt-heavy slapstick, scraped-up bodies, and the proudly shabby look of a place held together by nerve.
