Father Figures
ComedyDrama125 min
After learning the father they were told had died never existed, fraternal twins Kyle and Peter hit the road to track down the man their mother never identified. Owen Wilson and Ed Helms are the baffled brothers, following a thin trail of clues through their mother’s past while trying to make sense of a family story built on improvisation. Glenn Close is their mother, whose old lie turns into a chain of awkward visits, missed assumptions, and increasingly personal discoveries. What starts as a search for one man becomes a cross-country hunt through a lineup of possible fathers and a much messier version of their childhood.
